New Kenya Constitution Debate - Citizenship of children 8 years and below

What is the impact of this statement?

(4) A child found in Kenya who is, or appears to be, less than eight years of age, and whose nationality and parents are not known, is presumed to be a citizen by birth.

Does this include children found in refugee camps?

  1. @siRKen. Yes it does include children found in refugee camps. The qualifier in this provision is that the nationality and parents are not known.
